To Add or Not to Add Milk?

Many teas taste absolutely delicious with milk, particularly stronger teas like Assams, where the milk tempers the strong flavour. Generally speaking, the lighter the tea, the less likely it is that it requires milk. Oolong, green, and white teas, as well as aromatic and floral teas should be savoured straight without milk to not spoil the delicate flavour. Very light teas like Darjeelings, can also easily be overwhelmed by milk. If you are not used to drinking your tea “black” or without milk, do try it. You will be most surprised by the difference.

Sloane Tea’s Heavenly Cream and Bold Breakfast are particularly creamy and delicious when taken with milk, and may soon become one of your daily favourites.
